Media Analyst (Work from Home - Day/Night Shift)

Additional Information

Required Experience:  0 years / Fresh graduates passed in recent 1-2 years
Salary Range:  ₹ 2,00,000 - 2,50,000 P.A. 

Location:  Hyderabad with Temp. WFH* due to covid (permanent WFH can be considered only on  strictly meeting *WFH privilege requirement)
     
Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities and  Expectations 

  1. Research and analyze relevant print, online, and broadcast content related to the clients as well as their competitors and industry.
  2. Eyeball relevant articles,  group the articles, and tag/categorize the articles as per topics.
  3. Write summaries in English for the grouped articles / tagged articles as required.
  4. Day Shift Timings would be 5 am to 2 pm or 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm or 10 am to 7 pm or 11 am to 8 pm as per project requirements. (Default Monday to Friday working days and Saturday & Sunday weekly off)
  5. Night Shift Timings would be 5 pm to 2 am or 7 pm to 4 am or 9 pm to 6 am or 10 pm to 7 am or 11 pm to 8 am or 12 am to 9 am or as per project requirements. (Default Sunday night login is Monday work day i.e., Sunday 9pm, Monday 9pm, Tuesday 9pm, Wednesday 9pm, Thursday 9pm, while Friday & Saturday are weekly Offs) 
  6. Rotational weekend off is either Sat & Sun or Tue & Wed or Wed & Thu or Thu & Fri as per project requirements. There will be No Changes in Shift once confirmed/offerred.
  7. Mandatory Login Day is Monday (for Night Shift its  Sunday login) and any leaves/permissions will be considered LOP by default. 
  8. Ready to have Voice Calls during the Training Sessions and meetings, which will be on a daily basis. Ready to have Video Calls as and when required on a regular basis. 
  9. Ready to work on Weekends or  Holidays as required where a Compensatory Off will be given in lieu of the same. Depending upon the work-load, the holidays can be granted on declared holidays.
  10. A dedicated Laptop/Desktop is mandatory and any shared laptop of family or friends or relatives or anyone else shouldn't be used, which later may lead to discrepancy of company policies towards rejection / termination.
     

Desired Candidate Profile  

  1. Graduation Completion from any stream/group is mandatory.  Those who are planning to pursue parallelly some Other/IT Courses, please DO NOT APPLY. 
  2. Proficiency in English with excellent reading, writing, comprehending, and interpretation skills.
  3. Good Analytical Skills and English summarizing skills
  4. Attention to Detail, punctuality, and a positive attitude towards work is essential.
  5. Must have a good working  Laptop/Desktop with an uninterrupted power supply and high-speed internet for an efficient WFH* environment with proper backup.
  6. Mobile network should be good without any low signals or connectivity issues for better coordination.


Job Benefits & Perks

  1. Laptop/Internet/Power Allowances (WFH Privilege) - Rs. 2000 per month
  2. Night Shift Allowances - Rs. 5000 per month (only for Night Shift paid on pro-rata basis as per the availability/attendance)
  3. All Other Allowances as per Govt Act - Provident Fund (PF), Esic, Gratuity as per Govt Act, Medical Insurance, and Yearly Statutory Annual Bonus
  4. Salary Payment Date - Everyone will get their salary on 1st of every month. If 1st falls on a holiday then it will be 2nd maximum (its before 2nd everyone gets paid without fail).
  5. For Allowances, we close the calculation by 20th of every month.. i.e., we calculate from 21st of previous month to 20th of current month and send to HR by 22nd, so that HR completes the validation and sends to Finance by 26th and it gets approved for payment by  the management by 30th, and this ensures that all get paid by 1st of every month.

WFH

 *WFH  Privilege (Basic Requirement of Work from Home Privilege while allowances are also being paid for the same):- 
Any issues related to Laptop/Internet/Power will NOT be  considered towards approved leaves or permissions (will directly fall under LOP). Also, any issues related to this (irrespective of the reason as heavy rains, floods, technical issues etc.) cannot be given as a  reason for non-contribution or low performance.  

  1. For Laptop/Desktop Issues or Repairs, please plan for a backup system (borrow or rent).
  2. For Internet Issues or disconnectio or re-connection, please plan for a backup internet  (dongle or jiofi)
  3. For Power Issues, please plan for a backup power (better battery backup, UPS or Inverter).

              

There will be a deduction in Laptop Allowances if any absenteeism is found with the above three issues. Further, if the same issues continue then the Work from Home Privilege will be cancelled and there will be instructions/action as per the sole discretion of the Manager.

Please note that any absenteeism or unfavourable conditions failing to maintain  any of the above (irrespective of natural calamity or riots or any other reason) will lead to LOP and deduction in allowances.  Please arrange for other alternative plans immediately (making due adjustments with the help of nearby relatives / friends / family / neighbours or last option to relocate to Hyderabad) to avoid any further deduction in allowances or pay.


Long Leaves & Weekend/Holiday Work:-

Those planning to pursue higher studies, it will not be possible to give long leaves or frequent permissions for exams or classes.
